Turbo Charging an Engine is a comprehensive project, many factors and parts need to be taken into consideration carefully. Placing Wrong part or incorrect tuning can result unexpected results. We strongly recommend our customers to plan the project thoroughly and consulate professionals.
At CXRacing, we try our best to provide information of some common questions, to help avoiding some mistakes.

Intercooler Boost Drop.
Intercooler pressure drop is normal, depends on the application. A good designed system should have very small pressure drop (within 0.1 to 0.5 PSI) for low boost application (less than ~20 PSI). 1 to 2 psi drop should be normal as well for high boost application. Sometimes too big of an intercooler with smaller turbo or too big of piping can cause too much pressure drop as well. So plan your project with all parts being considered to make them work together smoothly.
There is no boost.
It most likely is caused by leaking somewhere. Check the piping, hoses and clamps.
My Turbo is leaking Oil.
Leaking oil on turbo hot-side sometimes happens. Primary it is caused by too much cooling oil pressure (our T3/T4 turbo works best with about 7 psi of oil pressure) blows up the oil sealing ring. To resolve this issue, make sure you check your oil feeding pressure before connect the oil feeding line kit, Use Oil Feeding Flange with restrictor (all our oil kit has restrictor built in on the flange). Another common issue is the oil return line is placed higher than oil feeding. Correct placement is oil feeding on the top of the turbo and return at the bottom.
